A little bit about myself...

I am a 35 year old Kindergarten teacher and a mom to 4 wonderful children.

I graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in elementary education. Right after college I substitute taught for a year, then we had out first daughter. I knew that I wanted to stay at home with my children so I started trying to think of a way to make a little money while staying at home.

Most people I know that make beads or like beads have a story about how they have always been fascinated with beads or stones from an early age. I don't have a story like that. I never liked beads, nor really jewelry. That is why I feel like what I do is such a blessing from the Lord, because it came out of nowhere. I was online one day and came across something call "lampworking" I read a little about, thought about it for awhile, then took a beginning class. It started out that I would make a set here and there and sell on ebay for $20 or so, and that was exciting to me. Well, 7 years later and 3 more kids and here I am. I love each day that I am able to do this. It allows me to stay at home, yet get out a little when I do shows. This is why I am so thankful to all my customers for allowing me to do something that I love. I love all the relationships I have formed and I hope that you enjoy my website.

My Store

When we built our house 4 years ago I knew I wanted a place were I could display my beads and jewelry. My store hours are by appointment.
